Manaiakalani Film Festival Movie: Freedom

Room 25 wanted to celebrate having the freedom to be a kid and all the joys that can bring. Having the freedom to climb trees and laugh and eat ice cream and run so fast you feel like your legs are going to break. Having the freedom to learn in a digital classroom which we all love. Museum trip

Room 25 went to the museum on Thursday to study dinosaurs. We had a fantastic day. Grandma Susan with her group of girls taking a break in the Wintergarden looking at all the beautiful flowers.

NZ Navy Band

Point England School were lucky to have the Royal NZ Navy Band come to play for us. They were amazing. They played fun songs where the whole school got up and danced and then they played songs from ANZAC to make us stop and think. We learned about all the different instruments that make up the band. Thank you Mrs Dwyer for sharing this video :)

Crazy Hat Day

On Friday Point England School decided to have a crazy hat day to promote the students having to wear hats in Term 4. Here is Kara, Ms Eadie, Norah-Jade and Lee

Term 4 writing: recounts

Room 25 will be focussing on recounts this term. That means we will have to do lots of exciting activities and have some great experiences for us to write about. So have a look around the students blogs and leave them some comments.

Team 2's Immersion Assembly Movie

The teachers of Team 2 thought we would have a bit of fun and make a video for the students to introduce them to our new Topic. Thanks to Katrin Rapold who put the movie together.

Term 4: Survivors

This term Year 2 will be investigating different types of dinosaurs. We will be focussing on the Pterodactyl, T-Rex, Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus. The students will be conducting their own inquiry and will be posting their work on their blogs. So please come and check out their work and leave them a comment.

Playing In The Puddles

Room 25 made the most of the storm we had last weekend and after lunch we took off our shoes and splashed about in the pond that had formed outside our classroom. Tori fell over but she got back up and enjoyed the day. Well done Tori.
