Cross Country

The weather was amazing for our cross country run. Here are just a few photos of the day. Latiana, Mele, Ema, Finau and myself
Ema having a rest on her best friend Mele
Exodus, Bronson, Lucian and Lincoln. Lincoln got a bit carried away with the sunblock.

Cross Country

Tyson, Bronson and Najari filling up the bins for the students to wash their feet in after training for cross country.
Don't know how much water was been successfully loaded into the large bin but the boys were having fun.

Having Fun With Chalk

The rain finally stopped so I let the kids out to have some fun with the chalk. Aye Myat lying very still so the girls could trace around her.

Kite Making

To celebrate Matariki Room 15 is designing our own kites. The students teamed up to work in pairs and they had lots of fun. Unfortunately there was no wind once we had finished so stay tuned and hopefully we will have a windy day where we can see if the kites fly. Getting started. First the students had to make the frame by joining straws together.
I was really proud of how they worked together to get their frames built.
The frame is finished
Now to attach the paper
Finally attaching the string without getting it tangled

Good Bye Ms Myers

Room 15 were so lucky to have Ms Myers in our classroom for 2 weeks. She was visiting from Portland, Oregon to see how our school system works. We are all going to miss her and the wonderful help she was in room 15. Take care Ms Myers and hopefully we will see you again one day.

Neo Comes To School

Neo loves to come to school to help the students of Room 15 with their
reading. She is a great listener and loves a belly rub.
